A main feature of the AYAD Program is its involvement of Australian Partner Organisations (APOs).  The AYAD Program provides the opportunity for Australian organisations to strengthen relationships with organisations in Asia, the Pacific and Africa or create new long term partnerships.  It also provides organisations with the opportunity to engage in an outstanding career development opportunity for young Australians.

 

Australian Partner Organisations work with the AYAD Program to develop and foster linkages between Australian organisations and Host Organisations working throughout Asia, the Pacific and Africa.

 

APOs can also contribute to the program through the nomination of candidates for their assignments, thereby ensuring a diverse range of participants in the AYAD Program and an opportunity for their staff and network members to be involved with their work with a partner in the field. APO nominated candidate assignments are not advertised on the AYAD website.
